Fullmetal Alchemist Tcg Expansion Plans For 2006 Announced:

JoyRide Entertainment is Fullmetal Alchemist TCG has been the breakout hit of 2005, with a base set (Premier Edition) and expansion set (Blood & Water) selling well in hobby stores and receiving critical acclaim from players, collectors, and media. Many stores have reported frequent sellouts, and singles for the game are going for as much as $150 online!
The new year is already shaping up to be a big one for JoyRide and Fullmetal Alchemist TCG. The second expansion set, Artificial Human, releases Feb. 15, with pre-release events Feb. 3-5. It will add 110 more cards, with the same parallel foil set, chase, and transmutated plastic cards fans of the game have come to known. Also, for the first time, JoyRide will introduce a new card type (advantages) to FMA TCG and level-four leaders for all the major leaders in the game!
But that's not all JoyRide has planned for Fullmetal Alchemist in 2006! A Hero is Passing will release in May, and this extra-large set will have nearly 200 cards and cover events up to and including the tragic death of one of FMA is most popular characters. A Hero is Passing will also revisit some of the themes of earlier sets and include popular cards from those sets.
After A Hero is Passing, fans can look forward to Alchemist is Gate, coming in fall 2006, and Seven Deadly Sins in late 2006/early 2007. Both sets will be about 110 cards and cover approximately seven episodes of the anime.
Also, starting with Artificial Human, JoyRide will switch to a new display-box size. Artificial Human boxes will contain 12 booster packs, making it easier for stores to stock and representing a smaller initial investment for players and collectors.
Fullmetal Alchemist TCG was a great success for us in 2005, and we look forward to continuing that success in 2006,? said Brand Manager Edward Bolme. ?We?ve even got another special product for FMA TCG in development; we can?t announce it yet, but we think fans will love it when they hear about it. Thanks again to all the fans and retailers who make our game great! Fullmetal Alchemist was an excellent choice for JoyRide Entertainment is first TCG, and we look forward to releasing new games and new intellectual properties in 2006.

Download it at the official Japanese website here What was said by Ed through the trailer (the narration of title of the movie excluded): Opening Words: -------------------------------------- Ed: In order to gain something, one must sacrifice another of equivalent value. That is the law of Alchemy. Equivalent exchange. Was the pain of our seperation the price for something? =========================== Yelling bit: =========================== Ed: This is OUR world! =========================== Note: I don't watch fansubs nor the dubs so my take on the rule/ law of Alchemy might be a little different from the English side, but I've got the meaning down roughly. The movie will open nationwide in Japan, come summer 2005. Sources: Official TV series website (Jpn) >> here Official Movie website (Jpn) >> here Thanks to fm-a.com
